thyssenkrupp Gerlach GmbH is part of the thyssenkrupp Forged Technologies Business Unit and one of the leading suppliers of forged vehicle components on the international market.

At our site in Homburg (Saar), we have been combining the traditional forging process with high technology since 1947. Today, with around 700 employees, we are one of the most efficient forging companies in the world.

Our way of working is characterized by a strong performance culture and a high degree of automation. We are proud to be a technology pioneer. With a strong focus on fully automated manufacturing concepts, digitalized processes and continuous improvement, we ensure our long-term competitive advantage.

In addition to our existing highly automated forging lines, we also set up the world's most advanced forging line for drivetrain independent chassis components (e.g. truck front axles) in fall 2021.

This is an important step in our strategy of entering new product fields and business areas for the future.
