Getting to the bottom of a problem is probably the most difficult thing for anyone trying to find a solution. All too often, people start pursuing solutions without first having looked at the problem from various perspectives. It is immensely important to really experience the problem situation for ourselves and gather expertise from specialists. Only then can we truly get to grips with the problem. That’s why one of the modules in the Innovation Garage is called Problem Shaping. Out of the office, into the start-up atmosphere of Berlin: Experience the mobility challenges of a big city at first hand; talk with people who face the problem day-in, day-out, seek the opinions of experts.
