Ford Motor Company honors thyssenkrupp as one of the world's best suppliers
Award in the "Must-Have Products" category for shock absorber manufacturer thyssenkrupp Bilstein
Honored for advanced shock absorber technology for the new Ford Bronco
thyssenkrupp was named one of the top-performing global suppliers at the 23rd annual Ford World Excellence Awards in early October. In the category "Must-Have Products", thyssenkrupp Bilstein was honored for its shock absorber technology designed for the all new Ford Bronco. Around the shock absorber product developed especially for Ford, thyssenkrupp Bilstein was awarded for its innovative strength, customer focus, improvement of the customer experience and co-branding support.

The award is a great confirmation of our joint development work with the customer Ford."
For the special performance requirements of the new Ford Bronco, thyssenkrupp Bilstein has launched the End Stop Control Valve (ESCV) technology especially developed for this application. The special design of the ESCV technology enables optimum damping characteristics under extreme conditions in off-road use as well as maximum ride comfort under normal loads in road traffic. The product was developed and is manufactured at thyssenkrupp Bilstein in Hamilton, Ohio.
Ford is one of thyssenkrupp's most important customers in the automotive industry. The first business relations between the Ford Motor Company and the thyssenkrupp Group date back to the beginning of the last century. For several decades, the group's automotive segment has supplied Ford with chassis and powertrain technology as well as body assembly solutions.
