Front axles

Technical description

The assembly of front axles consists of assembling all suspension components, taking the various versions and axle types into consideration (e.g. damper types, brake versions and steering gears).

Rear axles

Technical description

The assembly of rear axles consists of assembling all suspension components, taking the various versions and axle types into consideration (e.g. damper types, brake versions and steering gears).

Engine dress up

Technical description

Engine dress-up consists of the further assembly of motor components, using previously assembled motor modules to create a finished drive unit (e.g. toothed belt, cable harness and coupling).

Axle adjustments

Technical description

The axle adjustment is a central component of the assembly process for the rear axles of passenger cars. This service includes setting the chassis parameters (toe and camber) based on the parameters provided by the customer.

Prototypes

Technical description

Prototypes are assembled under different conditions, separate from the production process. This includes the assembly of functional axles. These consist of components that, to a large extent, are still in the testing or conceptual stage and are used for testing purposes. The assembly of prototypes is carried out using special tools on special workpiece carriers.

Corner modules

Technical description

Corner modules are assembled from suspension components such as pivot bearings, brakes and suspension struts. The module is a unit that is part of the entire axle.

Center modules

Technical description

Center modules are assembled from suspension components such as front axle bearings, steering gears, heat shields and/or stabilizers. The module is a unit that is part of the entire axle.
