Electric drive

Rotorshafts

Technical description

The rotor shaft is used to hold the laminated core and ensures torque transmission from the electromagnetic area to the mechanical area. The built rotor shaft enables the integration of further functions inside the shaft (e.g. cooling). Another advantage is the reduction of the weight reduction.

Customer benefits / unique selling propositions

  • Stress-related combination of different materials on one shaft

  • Integration of functions possible by using the available space in the rotor shaft

  • Less machining effort due to design close to finished size

  • 100% quality data recording for each connection
