Solid stabilizer bars

At the foundation of our stabilizer portfolio are cold-formed and hot-formed solid stabilizer bars. This inexpensive solution is used in a wide variety of forms with constant or variable diameters. Characteristics: Wide spectrum of components Economical solution

Tubular stabilizer bars

In comparison with solid stabilizer bars, the tubular version offers significant advantages in terms of weight, while retaining beneficial properties. For this reason, we are using them more and more often. We also produce tubular stabilizer bars with constant and variable diameters and various wall thicknesses.

Characteristics:

  • Up to 40% weight reduction

Rubber-to-metal stabilizer bearings

To reduce wear due to the penetration of moisture and dirt into the spaces between components and to decrease noise, we use rubber-to-metal stabilizer bearings. They ensure an optimum connection between the bearing elements and the stabilizer bar. This generates more comfort as well as cost savings because axial fixing rings may not be required.

Characteristics:

  • Not sensitive to dirt or moisture
  • No noise generated because relative movement is suppressed
  • More stable, lower energy production process
  • Increased comfort
  • No axial fixing rings required

VarioShape®

The VarioShape® stabilizer bar is the result of our further development of the tubular stabilizer bar. A weight reduction of up to 50% in comparison to a conventional solution is possible, while retaining the same mechanical component properties. To utilize the raw material completely and realize the weight reduction, diameters and wall thicknesses can be changed or adapted with regard to the respective load.

Characteristics:

  • Up to 50% weight reduction
  • Optimal utilization of the respective material
  • Use of highly advanced production technologies
  • Stress-optimized geometry based on FEM calculations
  • Extended service life
