We were privileged to have Dr. Yuliya Prakopchyk and Markus Kinds from VDA as our guest speakers. They delivered an in-depth presentation on the VDA 6.8 Supply Chain Process Audit. This framework is essential for evaluating and improving supply chain processes, ensuring that we maintain high quality and efficiency throughout our operations. Their insights provided valuable knowledge that will help us continue to excel in our audit practices.
One of the most engaging parts of the day was the interactive breakout sessions. Participants were divided into small groups to analyze real audit deviations identified by certification bodies at our sites. This hands-on approach not only deepened our understanding of audit processes but also encouraged teamwork and the exchange of best practices among auditors.
In addition to the group activities, participants had the opportunity to learn about engaging in a self-assessment. This allows them to identify their strengths and areas for improvement, contributing to their personal and professional growth. By uncovering their potential for improvement, auditors are better equipped in the future to uphold and enhance our quality standards.
The event was more than just a learning experience; it was a celebration of our auditor community. The collaborative environment and shared experiences helped strengthen the bonds among auditors, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.
We are grateful for the dedication and active participation of all our auditors. Their commitment to quality excellence is what drives our continuous improvement efforts. We look forward to building on this momentum and seeing everyone again next year for another enriching Auditor Day.
