Competence for the chassis

thyssenkrupp Springs & Stabilizers represents innovation and high-tech in suspension technology worldwide. The business unit has production facilities in Europe, North and South America, and Asia, and supplies springs and stabilizers for the entire suspension range.

The product range includes steel springs, solid stabilizer bars, and weight-optimized tubular and split stabilizer bars for active suspension systems. Lightweight engineering and CFRP products made from carbon fiber-reinforced plastic complete our portfolio. By pooling development and distribution resources, we furthermore increase product quality and customer orientation.

Employees working together in the spring factory

We are a globally active group of companies with over 3000 employees. We are currently producing at eight production facilities in Europe, North and South America, and China. Internationally positioned together with our seven sales and development offices, we are a competent and innovative partner for the entire automotive industry, and have high development and manufacturing potential.

As early as 1562, a production facility of what is today the Business Unit Springs & Stabilizers was founded close to Werdohl, Germany. It initially performed only forging work. The first springs were produced in 1912, in Hagen-Hohenlimburg. Stabilizers have been manufactured at our location in Olpe since 1971.
